The Waterloo Region District School Board is so proud of our students who entered the Artrium Student Art Display contest at the Education Centre. Each work submitted showed immense talent from our students. We want to congratulate all students that entered this contest for their hard work and dedication!

This year Curry’s Art Store selected “Bedside” by Steven Restagno, a student at Eastwood C.I. as the winner. This spectacular oil painting will be on display at the Education Centre for one year.

Honourable mention goes to “The Roots of Our Future” by the ESL Class at Galt C.I. This scroll displays an ink tree with a multitude of images from the students’ home countries and images seen throughout Cambridge. This amazing artwork will also be on display at the Education Centre.

We want to thank Curry’s Art Store for their contribution to this project.

We are very proud of the hard work that these students put in to their art submissions and hope that they continue to follow their dreams of becoming Artists!
