The students, staff, and surrounding community of Franklin Public School viewed 72 projects by 187 students at their spring Science Fair – where students proudly demonstrated and shared their projects!

Students were encouraged to work with friends and family to submit an inquiry-based project for the fair. They showed interests in everything from volcanoes and tsunamis to pollution and germs. A highlight from the evening was a demonstration of a homemade hovercraft that gave rides to some of the visitors. The Science Fair was open to all Franklin PS students from JK – Grade 6, but saw a large percentage of primary students as participants. It was inspiring to see so many students sharing the love of wonder and science.

A big thank you to the families that supported these projects to make the day a big success.
