William G Davis PS in Cambridge is paying tribute to veterans by making poppies and placing them on the front lawn of the school.
Principal Dudley Brown explains the school project:
“The wearing of poppies is a wonderful way to honour those that fought and died for our rights and freedoms and finding a way to extend this honour throughout November would be a great way to create community. The idea is to create and plant poppy facsimiles in our front yard in attempt to recreate Flader’s Fields.
