The International Languages program provides opportunities to learn a language at the elementary or secondary school (high school credit) level, at a variety of sites around the Region.

Secondary school student
Adults (fees apply in some situations)

Registration Procedure

The following languages are offered at the locations listed below in September 2011. Students, who missed the spring registration will be able to register for the listed languages at the 2011-2012 school locations on September 24, 2011.

Fees - There are no WRDSB tuition fees for elementary or secondary students. There may be a student fee assessed by the Parent Cultural Association. These vary by language groups. Adults - fees may apply in some situations, call for more information.

Schedule

• Elementary classes run Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., starting September 24, 2011
• Secondary classes run Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., starting September 24, 2011
• There are no classes on the following dates:
  -Saturday, October 8, 2011 (Thanksgiving)
  -Saturday, December 24, 2011 (Winter Break)
  -Saturday, December 30, 2011 (Winter Break)
  -Saturday, January 7, 2012 (Winter Break)
  -Saturday, February 18, 2012 (Family Day)
  -Saturday, March 10, 2012 (Spring Break)
  -Saturday, March 17, 2012 (Spring Break)
  -Saturday, April 7, 2012 (Easter)
  -Saturday, May 19, 2012 (Victoria Day)

Course Cancellation Policy - Courses listed will be offered provided there are sufficient registrants and/or qualified teachers available. That is, some of these languages MAY NOT be offered, depending on final registration numbers!
