Pioneer Park Public School received $3,525 from TD Canada Trust’s TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) for the third naturalization phase of creating 2 shaded areas for Junior Students. The school lost a number of trees due to the ash borer, and the junior end of the playground was left with no shaded areas. With this funding the school was able to plant 7 large native species trees and install armour stone for seating.
