OYAP Events and Workshops
INFORMATION SESSIONS
All information sessions will provide incite on up-and-coming careers within a particular sector. Information will also be provided on courses and programs students can take while in high school to assist in their career transition. Guest speakers will include representatives from industry, educators and former students. Food and beverages will also be provided.

OYAP WORKSHOPS
The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program offers secondary students the opportunity to participate in several career workshops. These workshops are organized through industry and/or Conestoga College. Students spend one day participating in several interactive activities that allow them use industry specific tools and equipment. The goal of each workshop is to allow students to experience what it would be like to work in a particular career. Transportation will be provided for all workshops.
