Welcome to Moffat Creek!
Moffat is an awesome building with its floor to ceiling glass window in the library, Red Bridge, copper siding, superb architecture, specialized flooring and full accessibility. It has a vast outdoor play area that is marked by the Cardinal Pass overlooking the protected natural spaces. These are only a few of the many special features of our school.
Moffat Creek is our new home. I am so pleased to welcome all of our friends from Alison Park, Chalmers Street, Stewart Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Avenue Road as well as all of our newcomers. Together, we will share, create and honour the spirit of community that will be unique to Moffat Creek.
As your principal, it is my desire to provide you with the necessary leadership that will encourage and nurture learning of the highest quality. I believe that the students at Moffat Creek will do great things as they strive to work to their full potential. Pupils are encouraged to enjoy new friendships, to take advantage of the special technology and all of the benefits that Moffat Creek has to offer.
I want to express my deepest appreciation to all the board personnel, site construction personal and Moffat Creek staff members for their efforts and superb commitment in ensuring that we are ready to serve our students and the Moffat Creek community. I am so very blessed to have such an incredibly dynamic, supportive, bright, talented and creative staff and support system with whom to work.
In ending, it is my hope and firm belief that we will all come together as a strong and unified community that is committed to providing the finest and most meaningful lifelong learning experiences for each one of our students. Let’s make this a great place in which to learn and grow.
