The staff, students and community members at Huron Heights Secondary School in Kitchener got into the spirit of the season at a school assembly today by helping a local family.

Sheila Weidinger, the head of the Business Department at the school, heard about the struggles of the Gouzecky family, she knew she had to do something to help. Laura and Shawn Gouzecky were just getting over the crisis of having a son born three months prematurely when Laura found out she had a brain tumour.
