The Grade 6 drama troupe at Central Public School teamed up with Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) Constable Douglas, their school resource officer, to present the book One in an assembly. The book is from a literacy text set purchased by their School Council to support anti-bullying education in schools.

After the drama skit, Officer Douglas unveiled the school’s new anti-bullying campaign, W.I.T.S. (Walk away, Ignore, Talk it out, Seek help), and led the Central PS students and staff through the oath.

Each class will be using a literacy-based approach to embrace the W.I.T.S. strategies, which supports Central PS PAWsitive Behaviour Code.
