Laurentian Public School students wanted to make a difference during the holiday season. Mr. Cain’s class led a “Gift a Smile” fundraising campaign to support local families that were in need of some help during the holiday season.

Class 8D ran a bake sale, BBQ, collected donations and toys, completed a food drive and collected Canadian Tire money. Mr. Walkey’s class ran a kraft dinner challenge. And families donated food items to their annual cocoa house concert.

Students created their own book marks to give to someone special in their life, a simple way to give a gift with inspirational words that puts a smile on someone’s face.

Laurentian PS is so proud of their caring students!
