Parent council has done it again! Along with many dedicated volunteers, Rockway Public School’s students, staff, volunteers and guests enjoyed a delicious meal on Friday.

The school held their annual turkey lunch, which has been a longstanding tradition of 24 years, funded by a generous and deeply committed School Council. Every year, Rockway PS students appreciate the opportunity to gather together and eat as much turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and buns as they want, topped off with an ice cream dessert and candy canes.

This event is made possible by all the extra efforts the entire Rockway community makes, consisting of staff, School Council members, families and the many, many willing volunteers.

They wish to thank everyone for their ongoing support and commitment, and for ensuring that this special tradition continues year after year.
