Cambridge’s Centennial Public School would like to thank their community for supporting their annual Terry Fox Run! With their support, Centennial P.S. raised $1,604.07 for cancer research! This amount means that the school passed all of the goals set at the beginning of the campaign, which was $600, and surpassed previous years of raising about $400.
The staff and students had a beautiful day for their ‘Run Day’ as they enjoyed running laps around the school. To celebrate achieving their top fundraising goal, all the runners met on the back tarmac at the end of the run to watch Ms. Lantink receive a lemon meringue pie in the face! Great joy was had by everyone that day.
