Congratulations to Patrick Rittinger, who received the 2014 Teacher Recognition Award by the Ontario Agri-Food Education Inc.

Pat is the sixth teacher to win this award, since it began in 2009. The award celebrates Ontario teachers that “integrate agricultural concepts into non-agricultural curriculum.” Pat adds agricultural information to his grades 10, 11 and 12 green industries classes at KCI.

Pat received $200 to put towards future agricultural activities or projects for his students.
