Please be advised that the Waterloo region District School Board approved recommendations to change the public school boundaries for some Junior Kindergarten to grade 8 students from Silverheights to Ryerson and William G. Davis Public Schools, effective this September 2010, at the Committee of the Whole Meeting June 4, 2008. This recommendation was ratified at the Board Meeting of June 23, 2008. There are a number of parts to this boundary change:

For September 2010, the senior grade 7/8 boundary for the Mattamy-Townline neighbourhood (see map) will be William G. Davis Public Schools, located at 530 Lang's Drive, Cambridge.
Students entering grade 7 in September 2010 (currently in grade 6) will be required to go to William G. Davis Public School.
Students entering grade 8 in September 2010 (currently in grade 7) have the option to remail at Silverheights PS, or switch to William G. Davis Public School.
In September 2010, Junior Kindergarten to grade 6 students in the Mattamy-Townline neighbourhood (see map) will now be in Ryerson Public School's boundary. Ryerson Public School is located at 749 Grand Valley Drive, Cambridge.
Ryerson Public School is currently being reconstructed to accommodate students from your community. It is anticipated that construction will be complete this summer.
A child care operator is being integrated into the construction of the new Ryerson facility.
In September 2010, the secondary school (grades 9-12) boundary for the Mattamy-Townline neighbourhood (see map) will be Preston High School, located at 550 Rose Street, Cambridge. Any students attending Jacob Hespeler Secondary School this year (2009/10) may remain there.
Transportation will be provided to Ryerson Public School, William G. Davis Public School and Preston High School for all students in the area being changed.
Transportation will be provided for grade 8 students choosing to remain at Silverheights PS as well as those remaining at Jacon Hespeler S.S (grades 10-12).
