Five schools in the WRDSB have achieved outstanding EcoSchool certification for 2012. The top five schools are:
- Highland PS
- New Dundee PS
- Forest Hill PS
- Waterloo Collegiate Institute
- Centennial PS (Cambridge)
Each school will select a prize item from a provided list of EcoSchool Measures, for use by staff and students at the school. The prizes are energyand water efficient, low maintenance, and also promote sustainability.
